October is the Month of the Young Adolescent

The resolution for the Month of the Young Adolescent was described by Grasmick as an important recognition that deserves year-round attention and commitment to ensure the well-being of all young adolescents. The resolution continues to read that increased linkages between home and school are necessary to promote the common goal of implementing high quality education for every young adolescent. Dr. Grasmick encourages parents, educators and community members at-large to make wise decisions every day to help young adolescents become healthy, productive and ethical adult citizens.
